Sea Silk

Handmaiden Sea Silk is a fingering blend of luxurious silk and sea cell, a cellulose based fiber made with seaweed.  The combination produces one of the most fabulous yarns around; one that takes color beautifully, has dramatic sheen, wonderful drape and just enough grab to ease knitting.  Each 100 gram skein is 70% silk, 30% sea cell, 437 yards and knits at approximately 7 stitches to the inch.
