Worsted Merino is an incredibly soft single-ply merino yarn produced by a small family-owned company in Uruguay. Malabrigo describes this yarn as having "the subtle variations in color and texture only hand dyed yarns have and all the sensuality of a good handspun yarn." I think you will agree. Worsted Merino is a pleasure to use, lovely to wear and is well priced considering its ample yardage. You can use it in any pattern calling for a worsted weight yarn and it is great for felting. Please remember there are no dye lots and colors will vary with subsequent shipments. Each 100 gram skein is 100% merino, 216 yards and knits at 4 stitches to the inch. Made in Uruguay.
Please note that with kettle dyed yarns, each skein can look quite different depending on where it sits in the kettle. The photographs are representative of how the yarn will look and are not pictures of current stock. Expect there to be some variation.
